Delete Your Account
How to delete your account and the personal information that goes with it, for all 1st Amendment Store apps and games: Movie Magic 8 Ball, BLANK and The Syndicate.
Accounts are optional. If you never created one, there is no account to delete, and everything the app stores is on your own device (see below).
Option 1: Delete it in the app
This is the fastest way. It takes effect straight away.
- Open any of our apps and sign in.
- Open the menu and tap Account.
- Under Delete account, tap Delete.
- Confirm by tapping Delete account.
Your account is shared across all of our apps, so deleting it in one app deletes it everywhere.
Option 2: Ask us by email
If you no longer have the app, or can't sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.
- Email bryce.boynton@1stamendment.store with the subject Delete my account.
- Tell us your username, or that you signed in with Apple or Google Play Games. If you have it, include your Player ID from the Account screen.
- We will delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in details: username and password, or your Apple or Google Play Games sign-in link
- Your player ID and account record
- Your friend name and friends list
- The gold and unlocks held on your account. These are shared across all of our apps, and they can't be restored after deletion.
What is not deleted
- Messages you already sent to friends may stay in their chat history, the way a sent text message stays on the other person's phone. To remove them first, delete your sent messages in the chat before deleting your account.
- Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play stay in Apple's or Google's own records, as they do for any purchase. Deleting your account does not refund them.
Data on your device
Your movie lists and history, study progress and saved games are stored on your own device, not on your account, so deleting the account leaves them in place. To remove them, uninstall the app, or clear the app's data in your device settings.
